Oleg Lipson, killed in Wednesday's terrorist attack on the filling depot near Kibbutz Nahal Oz , was brought to rest in Be'er Sheva on Thursday. Lev Cherniak, also killed in the Nahal Oz attack, will be brought to rest at the same cemetery on Friday afternoon.

The two men, killed by Palestinians that infiltrated from the Gaza Strip, were coworkers and close friends, said their friends and family.

Lipson, 53, is survived by his girlfriend Jana, and his 11-year-old son. Cherniak, 37, left behind his life partner Irena.

According to Cherniak's neighbor, he is the father of two daughters: A 12-year-old girl mothered by Irena, and an older daughter who resides in Germany. The neighbor also said that Cherniak was planning to travel to Russia in the near future in order to visit his mother, and that Cherniak and Lipson were close friends, who shared an interest in computers and electronic gadgets, and spent a lot of time together.

Representatives of Dor Alon Gas Stations, the company for which the two men worked, also attended the funeral. "The two were good and serious employees, who worked at the terminal all day. They were diligent workers," they said.
