Last update - 19:27 10/04/2008 Schoolbus driver suspected of soliciting sex from 15-year-old girl By Jonathan Lis, Haaretz Correspondent Tags: Police, driver, Jerusalem  A Jerusalem schoolbus driver was arrested Tuesday over suspicions that he repeatedly solicited sex from a 15-year-old girl over the past two years. Shimon Barda, 49, who is employed as a driver for a transportation company that carries children to educational institutions, allegedly persuaded the girl to engage in sexual acts with him by rewarding her with money and gifts. Police are also investigating suspicions that Barda sexually assaulted several other girls. Advertisement At the deliberations over the extension of his remand Barda requested that the court conceal his identity, But the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court justice ruled that the publication of his name was necessary in order to locate his other victims. Barda's remand was extended by five days.
