Holon resident admits to indecent acts against 40 minors
By Roni Singer-Heruti, Haaretz Correspondent
Tags: sex crimes, pornography

A 51-year-old Holon man admitted to committing indecent acts against 40 underage girls within the last three years. The man was arrested after a 12-year-old girl complained that she was caressed by a man she recognized from a local synagogue.

Wednesday it was revealed that police are investigating suspicions that six people, including a policeman from the north, held and distributed pornographic films of children. The six are suspected of having downloaded hundreds of pornographic pictures and films of children from various internet sites onto their personal computers. The investigation was opened following an Interpol tip off.

Police Wednesday searched the homes of two of the suspects - Herzliya residents aged 32 and 56 ? and confiscated their computers. One of the computers contained thousands of pornographic films and photographs of children. The second computer contained 150 pornographic films of children and records of internet chats with 12-year-old girls. The two suspects were consequently arrested and remanded.
