The informant who goes by the alias 'Arthur, shared a prison cell with Zadorov while posing as a fellow inmate.

'Arthur' arrived in court on Thursday wearing a military camouflage suite and testified that on the night of the December 18, 2006, after they had shared a cell for six consecutive days, Zadorov told him that he murdered the girl. The converation was held nearly two weeks after the murder.

According to 'Arthur,' Zadorov confided in him after returning from a psychiatric evaluation. "He asked me if he could turn off the light in the room. I told him not to, because I knew that there were cameras that had to film," said the interrogator.

"I sat beside him on the bed. He lay down and told me that 'they irritated me at school. They did all manner of things to me; detached my ceramics-cutting machine from the electricity. There were all manners of events pertaining to cigarettes, requests and besmirchments on the part of the children."

"He told me that even if he had been listening to music on his walkman, he would have felt the children's words," the investigator continued. "All of this built up inside him and he was on the verge of snapping. He also told me how he had to work all manner of odd jobs and that the Interior Ministry would not issue him an ID card and that people view him as a Russian, not a person, and treat him like one," he said.

"[Zadorov] then began to explain how he did it; how he quietly followed her into the bathroom and cut her in a manner that would not make a mess."

Shmuel Rada - Tair's father - said that "the informer did his job. He is supposed to draw the suspect like a magnet, but it is not simple to admit such thing. I will put it clearly and simply: Zadorov is the murderer and I hope they do the same thing to him in prison. If I could do it, I would, despite the difficulties involved."
