Police have arrested a youth, 18, suspected of having stabbed and seriously wounded a 46-year-old resident of Tel Aviv, after the victim met him in the city's Independence Park, invited the youth to his home and had sexual relations with him.

The youth fled the scene after the incident, but was apprehended after the victim described him to police, who then arrested him walking with bloodstained clothing on Gordon Street.

The victim was rushed to Ichilov Hospital in serious condition.
