Rishon Letzion man stabs wife to death as daughter, 12, looks on
By Roni Singer-Heruti, Haaretz Correspondent

Israel Police on Sunday arrested a man for allegedly stabbing his wife to death in Rishon Letzion as the couple's 12-year-old daughter looked on.

Paramedics rushed to the scene shortly before 7 A.M. Sunday after receiving a call from a next-door neighbor, and pronounced the woman dead.

The initial investigation suggests that an argument arose between the couple, and was witnessed by their young daughter. The husband proceeded to stab his wife to death.

The daughter hurried to a neighbor, who reported the crime.

The victim is said to have complained on two previous occasions that her husband threatened her life.
