Palestinians on Saturday threw four Molotov cocktails at Israeli cars traveling near the West Bank city of Qalqiyah. One Israeli was lightly wounded in the attacks, and three cars were damaged.

The Israel Defense Forces have launched searches in the area to find possible assailants.

The attack comes a week after an Israeli man sustained light burns when Palestinian terrorists threw a Molotov cocktail at the car in which he was traveling in the northern West Bank.

Security services on Friday arrested two knife-carrying Palestinian youths near the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron. The two are suspected of planning to carry out a stabbing attack on worshippers at the Jewish holy site.

The Israel Defense Forces on Friday ended operations begun Thursday in and around the West Bank city of Tul Karm, after receiving threats of attacks originating from the city.

The IDF banned cars from entering or exciting the city during the operations, and local residents stated that an ailing Palestinian woman from a nearby village died after she was denied access to an ambulance.
