(AP) Last update - 16:27 09/02/2008 Israeli man hurt in Molotov cocktail attack on car in West Bank By Ron Kamara Tags: Kfar Sava, security  An Israeli man sustained light burns Friday evening when Palestinian terrorists threw a Molotov cocktail at the car in which he was traveling in the northern West Bank. The man, an Omer resident in his seventies, was taken to Meir Hospital in Kfar Sava for medical treatment after suffering burns to his hands and face. Israel Defense Forces troops arrested a Palestinian man in the West Bank village of Azzun in connection with the firebomb attack, Israel Radio reported. Advertisement The Fatah-linked Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades claimed responsibility for the attack, according to the radio. The Molotov cocktail shattered the rear window of the vehicle, hitting the back seat where the injured man was sitting, a relative told Haaretz. The driver of the vehicle was able to proceed to a safe location, where he stopped and extinguished the flames, the relative said. The driver and his wife, who are also in their seventies and reside in Yahud, were unharmed in the attack. The three had been visiting a family member in the West Bank settlement of Ginot Shomron. The attack follows a string of West Bank shootings in the past few months. In November, Palestinian terrorists opened fire on an Israeli car near the settlement of Kedumim, killing 29-year-old Ido Zoldan. Then, in late December, Kiryat Arba residents Ahikam Amihai and David Rubin, both in their early twenties, were shot to death by terrorists while hiking near Hebron.
