Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah (AP) Last update - 12:44 07/02/2008 Hezbollah's Nasrallah: I thank Winograd for his honest report By Yoav Stern, Haaretz Correspondent Tags: Hezbollah, Winograd Report  Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah on Wednesday commented for the first time on Israel's Winograd report on the Second Lebanon War, saying he is grateful for the report's honesty. "I thank Winograd for his honesty," Nasrallah told the television channel OTV. He said that he assigns greater importance to the report's classified sections, but that even the parts that have been released "do justice" to his organization, since they clearly stated that Israel had been preparing for war. Israel planned to strike in September 2006, he said. "We thank Allah it happened in July and not in October, when Israel had plans to eliminate us in three days," he said. Advertisement Nasrallah was asked about his previous statements, according to which Hezbollah missiles could strike anywhere in Israel in case another round of fighting ensues. "I was not boasting, just trying to prevent war," he said. "Israel should realize that there isn't a single safe place in occupied Palestine."
