CEOs of Facebook and Dell to attend 2009 Jerusalem Conference
By Ora Coren and Guy Rolnik

DAVOS, Switzerland - Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, and Michael Dell, of the huge computer company of the same name, will be visiting Israel sometime during April and May 2009. President Shimon Peres invited the two to attend the Jerusalem Conference under his auspices.

The conference will be held in May of next year and will focus on the Jewish world, although many non-Jews will also participate.

Zuckerberg and Dell were invited personally by Peres in Davos last week. Zuckerberg was enthusiastic and even promised to bring his mother along for a tour of Israel.

Peres continued to advance alternative energy projects at the Davos Conference this year, though he did not deal with Shai Agassi's electric car project this time; he did try to interest others in joint Israeli-Jordanian projects.
