Ben Gurion night flights set to resume, despite risk of noise

Ten years ago, night flights into and out of Ben Gurion International airport were discontinued due to the effects of the noise they made on nearby communities.

But documents from the Transportations and Environmental Protection Ministries reveal late night flights will soon be reintroduced, despite objections by local municipal leaders.
