Tennis / Australian Open / Shahar Peer advances to women's doubles semifinals By Rami Hipsh After her third-round exit in the singles' tournament, Israeli tennis player Shahar Peer reached the semifinals of the Australian Open doubles' competition with her Belarusian teammate Victoria Azarenka. The two easily beat Janette Husrova of Slovakia and Flavia Pennetta of Italy 6-1, 6-1, and this morning they will face China's Yan Zi and Jie Zheng, who advanced to the semifinals after beating the strong Venus and Serena Williams duo in the previous round.
