(AP) Last update - 23:21 10/01/2008 Israel to increase industrial-use diesel supply to Gaza Strip By Yuval Yoaz, Mijal Grinberg and Yuval Azoulay, Haaretz Correspondents Tags: Sderot, Gaza Strip, Israel  Defense Minister Ehud Barak has decided to cancel planned cuts in the supply of industrial-use diesel fuel to the Gaza Strip, and bring the supply back up from 1.75 million liters per week to 2.2 million liters per week, according to a statement given to the High Court of Justice by the state prosecution. The industrial-use diesel is used to Gaza's power plant. The High Court met Thursday to debate a petition filed by several human rights organizations against the cuts in Israeli-supplied fuel and electricity to the Gaza Strip, in response to the ongoing Qassam rocket fire. Israel decided a few days ago to cancel planned cuts in the supply of diesel intended for use in cars. Advertisement The court will hold a hearing next month on the electricity cuts. Qassam hits by Negev cafeteria, causing damage but no injuries Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip fired a Qassam rocket at the western Negev on Thursday, striking near the cafeteria building in the heart of Kibbutz Yad Mordechai. The rocket hit in an open area some 100 meters from the cafeteria, and caused light damage to several of the kibbutz's buildings, including the cafeteria and the medical clinic. There were no injuries in the attack. The rocket strike came a day after a barrage of at least 10 Qassams and 12 mortar shells hit the western Negev. Two Qassams directly struck houses in the town of Sderot, damaging the buildings. In one of the houses, a woman and her two-year-old son were in the house at the time of the attack and managed to take shelter in a protected room. The rocket came through the ceiling and landed on the boy's bed causing extensive damage, relatives told Army Radio. Also Wednesday, two Gaza militants were killed by Israel Defense Forces fire in separate incidents. Both of the militants were killed either moments before or after launching a rocket at Israel.
