Last update - 09:00 10/01/2008 Father, two children hurt in criminal car blast in Beit Semesh By Jonathan Lis, Haaretz Correspondent Tags: Beit Shemesh A seven-year-old girl was moderately injured and her brother and father lightly injured on Wednesday morning in a car blast in Beit Shemesh. The motives behind the explosion are believed to be criminal. The father is known to the police, and he survived a separate assassination attempt roughly two years ago. T Advertisement he explosion took place while the man and his two children were entering the car on Aliyah Street in Beit Shemesh. Magen David Adom ambulances and police arrived at the scene and extracted the family from the car. The three were taken to Hadassah University Hospital, Ein Kerem in Jerusalem.
