(Daniel Bar-On / Jini) Last update - 23:58 03/01/2008 Six-year-old succumbs to wounds sustained in Ma'aleh Adumim fire By Jonathan Lis, Haaretz Correspondent Tags: Ma'ale Adumim A six year old boy on Thursday died of wounds sustained the day before in a fire that broke out in his family's apartment in Ma'aleh Adumim. At around 6:30 pm, emergency services received a call reporting an apartment fire in the city. A large contingent of rescue workers arrived on the scene and during their efforts to control the blaze, they discovered Aharon Gonzales, aged 6, and his three-year-old brother Eliezer trapped inside the burning apartment. Firefighters managed to rescue the two from the fire, and they were rushed to Sha'are Zedek hospital in the city suffering from severe smoke inhalation.
