After countless Knesset discussions on the fate of settlers evacuated from the Gaza Strip in 2005, it seems unlikely that a housing solution will be found for them in the near future, despite government promises.

Until a solution is found, the delay will cost the state financially as well as further damaging relations with an already alienated community.
