IDF ousts Darfur refugees despite dangers in Egypt

The Israel Defense Forces adopted a new policy according to which any Sudanese refugee caught infiltrating Israel from the south must immediately be deported to Egypt.

This policy has been adopted despite the dangers face by the refugees on the Egyptian side of the border.

Only two months ago, Egyptian police stoned to death two Sudanese refugees and executed another with bullets.
