Three people were killed in three separate road accidents around Israel over the weekend.

One man was killed and two people injured early Saturday morning in a traffic accident close to the Nitzana crossing on the Israel-Egypt border.

The car crashed into a roadblock on the border, killing one passenger and injuring the driver and another passenger. The injured were evacuated to Sorokoa Medical Center in Be'er Sheva.

Police believe drunk driving caused the accident.

In a separate incident, Yisrael Holzberg, 24, of Beitar Ilit was killed on Friday in a traffic accident between a car and a bus on the Tunnel Road, which connects the Gush Etzion settlement bloc with Jerusalem.

Three people were injured in that accident - two moderately and one lightly.

Also on Friday, a 16-year-old motorcyclist was killed in Tel Aviv when, according to a preliminary investigation, he lost control and crashed into a residential building
