Shai Shirazi, alleged crime kingpin's son, arrested in T.A. club murder

Shai Shirazi, the son of alleged crime boss Rico Shirazi, has been named a suspect in the double murder that took place at the entrance to a nightclub in Tel Aviv last week. A gag order was lifted on his arrest on Tuesday.

Yehuda Bouzo and Sabi Mishayev were named as the other two suspects.

The murder took place last Wednesday night, after a motorcyclist opened fire on a crowd outside "Night," a southern Tel Aviv nightclub, killing security guard Sagi Or and Rafael Ronel, 52, owner of the next-door "Taboun" restaurant. Several people were wounded.

The shooting, which targeted the security guards, is apparently related to a fight that broke out at the club the week before between Or and a few youngsters, three of whom were injured. Police believe the three returned to the nightclub late Tuesday to settle the score.

The remands of all three suspects have been extended by nine days. Their lawyers, Yarom Halevy, Sharon Nahary and Yaakov Sklar denied the suspicions attributed to their clients.
