Kalansua man shoots dead one, wounds three in brawl

A 30-year-old resident of the Israeli Arab town of Kalansua, in northern Israel, was shot and killed Saturday afternoon in a clash between rival groups from Tira and Kalansua.

According to the police report, an argument erupted between drivers in Kalansua over a matter pertaining to traffic, at approximately five A.M.
The argument soon escalated into a brawl between Tira and Kalansua residents. At one point, one of the men involved in the violence pulled out a firearm and proceeded to shoot other brawlers, killing one man and wounding three others.

One of the men is in critical condition, the other two sustained severe and critical wounds. All three were evacuated to Meir Hospital in Kfar Sava.

Police are searching for the shooter, who fled the scene of the crime. His identity is known to police.
