3 Ben Gurion airport workers hurt after inhaling dangerous substance

Panic broke out at Ben Gurion International Airport on Tuesday when employees complained they were feeling ill after inhaling a dangerous chemical.

Three of the airport employees were taken to Assaf Harofeh Hospital in Tzrifin for treatment.

An initial investigation revealed that those affected by the substance had been had been cleaning a Czech aircraft. Remnants of the yet unidentified substance were isolated inside the plane.

Firefighters wearing protective gear entered the aircraft, collected samples of the offensive material and aired out the interior of the plane.

It is suspected that the substance may be a byproduct of poorly packed fertilizer.
