21-year-old Yosef Hussein Abu A'amsha was stabbed to death on Friday during the course of brawl that broke out in a Nazareth grocery store.

Abu A'amsha's 30-year-old brother was seriously wounded in the brawl, and their third brother, 25, was moderately hurt. All three brothers were residents of Nazareth.

The store owner was lightly wounded in the scuffle, but he was arrested immediately after receiving treatment for his wounds, on suspicion he had been involved in the murder.

The police also arrested three of the store owner's children, aged between 18 and 27, on suspicion of involvement in the incident. A fifth man, 37, was also arrested. The Nazareth Magistrate's Court extended their remand late Friday evening.

Nazareth police station commander Avi Haliwah said the fight had erupted following a disagreement between two of the individuals over the sale of a car. He said that he expects that more arrests will be made in connection to the incident in the coming days.

The injured, who were stabbed and beaten with rods, were taken to a local hospital for treatment. The chief of surgery at the Italian Hospital in Nazareth reported that Abu A'amsha had arrived at the hospital in critical condition and later died of a stab wound to the heart.
