British detectives investigating the death of Ashraf Marwan, who was a Mossad agent during the Yom Kippur War, are increasingly becoming convinced that he was murdered.

The London Metropolitan Police's suspicions have led them to postpone issuing a report on Marwan's death for three weeks.

Marwan fell to his death from the balcony of his London apartment less than two months ago. One reason for believing that the Egyptian businessman was either murdered or committed suicide is the missing manuscript of a book he was writing on the Middle East between 1969 and 1978. The book was scheduled to be published later this year.
