Prisons Service nixes entry to Sudan refugees at Ketziot jail
By Mijal Greenberg, Haaretz Correspondent

The Israel Prison Service (IPS) on Monday refused to admit a group of 30 Sudanese refugees who infiltrated Israel from Egypt into Ketziot Prison in the south.

In light of this development, the Israel Defense Forces is planning to move them to a lodging complex for soldiers in Be'er Sheva, where a group of 70 Sudanese refuges who arrived in Israel over the weekend is currently housed.

The IPS has yet to comment on the details of the event, but an IPS spokesperson told Haaretz on Saturday that there was no room for any more men at the facility.
