Jerusalem police arrested on Monday a father of 13 suspected of molesting his 12-year-old daughter after she claimed he had been sexually abusing her for years.

Police sources said it was too early to determine the validity of the child's complaint, and are currently conducting parallel investigations into the possibility the suspect molested a number of other girls.

Investigators quizzed the man after taking the girl's testimony and will decided whether to extend his remands later in the day.
