Two murdered in J'lem home, police catch suspect with gun in hand
By Jonathan Lis, Haaretz Correspondent

Police apprehended on Sunday a man suspected of shooting and killing two people, believed to be father and son, in their Jerusalem home.

Police sources said it appeared the suspect had been involved in a financial dispute with the victims, and shot them during an argument in their apartment, seriously wounding them.

A neighbor heard the shots and called the police. Two officers who had been coincidentally patrolling nearby, arrived almost immediately and arrested the suspect who was still holding the weapon.

They subsequently called for backup and emergency medical services, who pronounced the victims' dead at the scene.

Jerusalem district police commander, Shuki Ziso said reports were received on Sunday afternoon that gunshots had been heard. He added that
the suspect did not resist the police when he was detained.

Ziso said the details of the financial dispute between the victims and the suspect were not yet known, but that during questioning, the suspect said it had been going on for a long time.
