Navy committee to investigate missile ship collision
By Amos Harel, Haaretz Correspondent

Israel Navy commander Major General Dudu Ben-Bassat on Tuesday appointed a special committee headed by a navy colonel to investigate the circumstances of an accident involving a missile ship at the Haifa naval port.

While sailing near the port on Tuesday, the navy ship accidentally hit an underwater object.

The ship's propellers were damaged, but none of the crewmembers were injured.
