Suspected Holon pedophile charged with three counts of indecent acts
By Nir Hasson, Haaretz Correspondent

Prosecuting attorneys on Thursday issued an indictment against a 25-year-old Holon resident accused of exposing himself to three different children on three separate occasions.

The suspect, who since his arrest has become known as "the Holon Pedophile," is alleged by police to have carried out dozens of similar acts against additional children.

According to the indictment, the first incident occurred a month and a half ago, when the suspect exposed his genitalia to a 10-year-old girl who was on her way home from school.

In the second case, he exposed himself in a similar fashion to a 10-year-old girl who was walking home from a local community center. In the third and final case, the suspect allegedly exposed himself and masturbated in front of an 8-year-old girl who was playing in a playground next to her house.

The prosecution requested that the court extend the suspects remand until legal proceedings against him are finished.

In their request, the prosecution presented the evidence against the suspect, which includes a line-up identification done by two of the girls he allegedly assaulted, as well as a detailed confession given by the suspect while under questioning.

"The acts for which the suspect stands accused are severe and prove that he poses a grave danger to society. He exploited the innocence of children and hurt their souls," the remand extension request reads.
