Traffic accident in Modi'in raises death toll to 90 this year
By Haaretz Service

The driver of a private vehicle was killed Friday when he drove into a 10-meter ditch on a construction site in Modi'in, Army Radio reported.

It is not clear why the accident occurred, although initial estimates are that he lost control of the vehicle. Magen David Adom paramedics removed the man's body from the car and confirmed his death on the spot.

With the fatality, Israel's death toll rose to 90 since the beginning of the year.

They were buried at Yarkon Cemetery in Petah Tikvah.
