Microsoft Israel has agreed to lease 100,000 square meters at the Gav Yam (Bayside) center's buildings 5 and 6 in Herzliya Pituach.

The company will be taking possession when their construction is completed, sometime in early 2008/

Microsoft Israel will be using the complex as its new R&D headquarters in central Israel. It will be maintaining its northern R&D center in Matam, Haifa.

Building 5 will have 9,500 square meters and Building 6 will have 5,500.

The standard of construction is supposed to be superior. Microsoft Israel will be occupying most of the space in each edifice.

The company has also leased 300 parking spaces.

Bayside declined to say how much Microsoft Israel will be paying. Its prices for Herzliya Pituach are known to be in the range of $15-18 per square meter.
