Supreme Court rejects Ofer Glazer's appeal of harassment charges
By Yuval Yoaz, Haaretz Correspondent

The Supreme Court refused Sunday to overturn the sexual harassment conviction of Ofer Glazer, the husband of billionaire Shari Arison.

Glazer, who was convicted of sexual harassment and committing indecent acts against two plaintiffs, will begin serving a six-month jail sentence next Sunday.

The sentence also includes a one-year suspended sentence, and a NIS 10,000 fine to be paid to the State, and NIS 15,000 compensation to be paid to each of the complainants.

Glazer, 46, was convicted of committing indecent acts against two women: one whom he met in Eilat when she sought to rent an apartment, the other who was a nurse who looked after his wife after an operation.

In September, Tel Aviv District Court unanimously rejected Glazer's first appeal of this conviction, as well as his request to have the six-month jail sentence lightened.
