An indictment order was filed Thursday morning to Nazareth district court against Katzrin resident Roman Zadorov for the murder of 13-year-old Tair Rada and for obstruction of justice.

According to the indictment, on December 13 Zadorov slit the girl's throat and stabbed her in other parts of her body in the restroom of her school in the Golan Heights town.

Zadorov confessed to the murder a week after the girl's body was found, but soon after retracted his confession, claiming he was put under intense pressure to confess during interrogation.

The indictment indicates that at 1:30 P.M. Rada was sitting with friends outside the school after attending a theatre class.

It says Rada told them she was going to get a drink of water and walked into the school. She entered the second-story restroom, where Zadorov - who had been doing renovation work in the underground shelter, noticed her and followed her with an intent to murder her.

Rada tried to close the door to the restroom, but Zadorov allegedly prevented her, drew the knife he was carrying and slit the girl's throat, neck, chest, face and hands. The girl suffered massive bleeding and collapsed in a restroom stall.

The suspect allegedly locked the door to the restroom from inside, climbed on Rada's body, grabbed hold of the stall's panels and leapt outside. He then descended the stairs to the men's room, rinsed the knife and washed the blood from his body.

The indictment says Zadorov returned to the shelter, changed his clothes and returned to work at 5:30 P.M.

After the murder, Zadorov allegedly broke the blade of the knife and replaced it, then hid the original blade and his pants.

Rada's parents, Ilana and Shmuel, have previously criticized the manner in which the investigation is being conducted and demanded that a private investigator be added to the police's investigative team.

In an interview with Israel Radio last month, Ilana Rada said she does not feel the police's current suspect was behind the murder.

The Radas arrived at the court and said they wish to learn the details of the indictment in order to "find the murderer as soon as possible."

The parents added that "everything will be revealed later - nothing is over. We won't undermine the police work, and later we will give our opinions."

Referring to the difficulty of facing the suspect in court, they said "the hardest part of all is behind us."
