Court extends remand of Katzrin murder suspect by six days
By Jack Khoury and Eli Ashkenazi, Haaretz Correspondents

The Acre Magistrate's Court on Tuesday extended by six days the remand of the prime suspect in the murder of a Katzrin teenager.

Judge Ronit Bash ruled that material gathered during the investigation raised reasonable suspicion that the suspect, Roman Zadorov, killed 13-year-old Tair Rada.

Zadorov's lawyer, David Spiegel, said before the hearing that the fact that neither an affidavit nor an indictment had been served to his client showed that he was innocent.

"If the police had evidence to support the allegations aside from a confession and reconstruction of events they would have charged him a long tome ago," said Spiegel.
