Rehovot man suspected of having abused his daughter for 19 years
By Roni Singer-Heruti, Haaretz Correspondent

Police have arrested a Rehovot man, 46, on suspicion of his having sexually assaulted his oldest daughter for the last 19 years.

The daughter, now 23, explained to police that she decided to come forward with the charges after hearing her youngest sister, who is eight, talking about their father touching her. The eldest daughter was immediately concerned that the eight-year-old was being abused by the father.

During questioning the father admitted only to abusing the eldest daughter.

Police will take testimony from the children to check suspicions that they have all been abused by their father.
