76-year-old pedestrian dies after being hit by jeep in Kfar Sava

A 76-year-old pedestrian was killed Friday when he was hit by a jeep in Kfar Sava. The 30-year-old driver has 37 traffic violations on his record, including seven for speeding.

An elderly man sustained serious injuries when he was hit by a commercial vehicle Friday in Tel Aviv. The 32-year-old driver was detained for questioning.

A 7-year-old boy is in moderate to serious condition after he was hit by a bus while crossing the street in Betar Ilit. The boy crossed the street in an area where there is no crosswalk.

Four people were killed and 1,055 injured, including nine seriously, in 835 traffic accidents across the country this week, bringing the total number of traffic-related deaths since the beginning of the year to 374.
