Police arrest Tiberias resident suspected of raping daughter

Tiberias police have arrested a 63-year-old resident of the area suspected of raping his 17-year-old daughter at knife point.

The man's wife, suspected of aiding in the crime, was also arrested.

The victim reported to police that her father raped her while she was home on vacation from boarding school.

According to Tiberias police, the man had served a prison term for raping his eldest daughter.

The man will be brought before the Tiberius Magistrate's Court on Sunday for the extension of his remand.
