Father allegedly hurls his children, aged 2 and 5, out of the window

Two children, aged two and five, were moderately injured when their father allegedly hurled them out of the window of their forth story apartment in Bat Yam early on Wednesday.

The father fled, and police were searching for him.

Police arrived at the apartment on Wednesday morning, and found the children's mother lightly wounded.

The mother told police her husband had strangled her and tossed her children out of the window.

Magen David Adom paramedics rushed the children to Wolfson Medical Center in Holon.

It is not yet clear what the motivation could have been for the father's alleged actions.
