Ex-MK admits he voted twice on bill; case ends in a plea-bargain
By Yuval Yoaz, Haaretz Correspondent

A plea bargain was reached in the case of Michael Gorlovsky, a former Likud MK who was charged with voting twice on a bill in the Knesset plenum in 2003, Jerusalem police informed the Magistrate's Court in the city on Wednesday.

As part of the plea bargain, Gorlovsky admitted to some of the charges attributed to him, and claims of fraud and breach of confidence were stricken from the charge sheet.

The prosecution and Gorlovsky agreed he would be sentenced to two months' community service, in addition to some probation time.

In the beginning of May 2006, prosecutors indicted Gorlovsky on charges of voting twice on an emergency economic plan.

The then-MK admitted to voting twice - once on behalf of his fellow party member Gilad Erdan.
