Police on Wednesday arrested two suspects in the murder of a Netanya yeshiva student who was found stabbed to death in the coastal city.

The two suspects, aged 22 and 35, studied with the victim. An initial investigation found that the three students were involved in an altercation earlier Wednesday night, and police suspect the fight led to the stabbing.

Police found the victim, age 24, at around 4:30 a.m., laying in critical condition in an open area near residential buildings in northern Netanya. Magen David Adom paramedics arrived on the scene and brought the man to Laniado Hospital where he was declared dead after a shortly after arrival.
