Israel's Dudi Sela knocked out of Wimbledon fourth round

Israel's Dudi Sela was knocked out in the fourth round of the Wimbledon tennis championships Monday after losing to Novak Djokovic in straight sets.

Djokovic completed his 6-2, 6-4, 6-1 rout of Sela in just one hour, 29 minutes. He broke Sela's serve seven times in the match.

The fourth-seeded Serb, who is looking for his second Grand Slam title after winning the Australian Open last year, set up his match point against Sela with an ace and converted it with another strong serve that the Israeli could only return into the net.

Sela became the first Israeli man in 17 years to reach the round of 16 at a grand slam when he knocked out Spain's Tommy Robredo in the third round on Friday.

The previous Israeli man to achieve the feat was Amos Mansdorf, who made it all the way to the quarterfinals of the 1992 Australian Open before losing to eventual champion Jim Courier.

Sela's career-best performance will see him enter the world's top 30 for the first time when rankings are updated following Wimbledon.
