dent Shimon Peres landed in Azerbaijan yesterday at the head of a business delegation of about 60 Israelis, including one with a pen poised to sign an agreement right away - Avi Leumi, CEO of Aeronautics. Yavne-based Aeronautics will be building a production plant in Azerbaijan, for which Leumi is expected to ink the agreement today. Israel's ambassador to Azerbaijan, Arthur Link, begs to note that the Aeronautics deal took two years to put together. Insofar as can be ascertained, Housing & Construction is also about to sign an agreement, in its case a $300 million contract to build a road. By the way, Azerbaijan provides about 25% of Israel's oil consumption.
