An Israel Air Force strike killed two Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip on Thursday, a militant group said.

The two militants were from the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, an offshoot of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah movement.

An Israeli army spokeswoman said she was checking the report although she was not aware of any military activity in the area of the central Gaza Strip, close to the border fence with Israel.
