An international conference marking the 10th anniversary of the Peres Center for Peace peaked on Monday night with the "Believe" concert, which showcased international and local talents united in their hope for peace.

Italian opera star Andrea Bocelli made the trip across the Mediterranean to take part in the event, after having been invited personally by President Shimon Peres.

ocelli, in Israel for the first time in eight years, performed a song written by Peres himself, entitled "Ray of Hope."

Bocelli shared the stage with dozens of singers from around the world, including Argentine singer Mercedes Sosa, Israel's Achinoam Nini and the Voices of Peace youth choir from the Arab Jewish Community Center of Jaffa.

The Peres Center for Peace is celebrating ten years of projects based on cooperation between Israelis and Arabs. Hopefully in another ten years, there were will be even more to celebrate.
