Juggling in Ein Hemed National Park
The Israel Nature and National Parks' Protection Authority is inviting the whole family to enjoy juggling and circus tricks in Ein Hemed National Park between 17-19.10. Be amazed by performances of fire juggling and even try your own hand at it.

The main circus show will take place at 15:00 everyday with more juggling, jesters, acrobatics and fire.

Yoav Yehuda Wine Festival
The Yoav Yehuda Wine Festival is celebrating its tenth year with a host of activities from wine-tasting to home cooking to musical performances.

Special activities, such as lectures, story-telling, gourmet meals, community singing, dance and chocolate workshops will be available during the Sukkot holiday at the individual wineries. The Agur winery will host an exhibition on the subject of wine-making in ancient Israel. The festival runs over Sukkot until 25.10.

Nabatean market in Mamshit National Park
Visit the colorful Nabatean market in Mamshit National Park between 14-19.10. In addition, on 16.10, a night market will take place in the streets of the ancient city, illuminated by torch-light and oil lamps and featuring dance and fire performances as well as music and activities for the children too.

Tours of the city's alleys takes place, free of charge everyday at 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00.

The Tamar Festival
Now in its 9th year, the Tamar Festival 2008 will take place along the banks of the Dead Sea between 15-19.10. A series of musical events have been organized at a number of sites including Masada, Nahal Zohar, Ein Gedi and Ein Tamar, where you can check out performances by Yehuda Poliker, David Broza and Mosh Ben Ari, among others.

Celebrating the passion fruit
If you take a trip to Moshav Midrach Oz you will come across Bazel HaPassiflora, the passion fruit grove where all the family is invited to participate in an array of celebratory activities taking place over Chol Hamoed Sukkot. Activities include passion fruit picking, creative workshops, (NIS 10), a visit to the boutique winery and liqueur tasting.

Haifa International Film Festival
This year's Haifa Film Festival is celebrating its 24th anniversary with an estimated 300,000 guests and 250 screenings of the latest global film offerings.

The festival will open on 14.10 with Woody Allen's 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona,' which was screened for the first time at the last Cannes Film Festival.
