Experts offer tips on how to make the Yom Kippur fast a bit easier

Religious, traditional or secular - 70 percent of Jews in Israel say they fast on Yom Kippur, which begins on Wednesday at sundown.

But fasting isn't just about the 24-hour abstention from food. There are things you can do before, during and after the fast to make the entire atoning experience a bit easier.
