Abbas wishes Olmert, Livni happy Rosh Hashanah

The Israeli and Palestinian leaders also made arrangements to meet next week.

Shortly after, Abbas telephoned Foreign Minister and newly-elected Kadima chair Tzipi Livni to express his best wishes. Livni likewise greeted chief Palestinian negotiator Ahmed Qureia ahead of the holiday.
