Haaretz.com/Channel 10 daily feature for September 23, 2008.

Violins found in concentration camps and ghettos at the end of World War II will come back to life on Wednesday night in Jerusalem.

The violins, many of which suffered near destruction at the hands of the Holocaust and 60 years of neglect, have been restored by Israeli violin maker Amnon Weinstein.

On Wednesday night, in a concert replete with symbolism, they will resume music making at a special concert near the walls of Jerusalem's Old City.
