Three school children injured after awning collapses
By Yigal Hai, Haaretz Correspondent and Haaretz Service
Tags: education, Israel

Three students aged 14 and 15 were injured Sunday evening - two seriously and one moderately - after they fell from a height of 10 meters at a school in Rosh Ha'ayin.

It appears that the awning they were climbing on in the inner courtyard of the Nofim school in Rosh Ha'ayin detached from the wall and collapsed.

According to early reports, one of the children incurred injuries to the head and the other two injuries to their chests. A medical team treated the children at the scene, before they were taken to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva.
