Many divorcees who moved to Israel for love now trapped in the country

Custody rights, immigration courts, international law and cross-border romances gone wrong all intersect in the cases of hundreds of woman who moved to Israel for love, split up from their husbands and are now virtually trapped in the country.

These women are prohibited from taking their children out of the country by court orders prompted by ex-husbands fearing they won't see their children again.
