Palestinian athletes overcome hurdles on their way to Olympics

With less than two weeks left until the start of the summer Olympics in Beijing, athletes all across the world continue the grueling training they hope will ultimately pay off with a medal.

Practicing day in, day out presents challenges under the best of circumstances, but can be especially tough when the necessary facilities are lacking.

This is the case for Hamse and Zakiya, two swimmers who, along with two runners, make up the Palestinian team heading to the summer games.
